Monday Morning Jumpstart:
Goal Check-in
Have you reached the goals you created earlier this year? How is your year going? Are you where you want to be? Have any unexpected circumstances derailed you?
Setting and resetting goals gets you refocused … and ensures you continue to make forward progress all year long.
So in today’s Monday Morning Jumpstart, AWAI Chief Success Officer, Ted Capshaw, and Director of Training, Jade Trueblood, talk about the importance of checking in on the goals you’ve set. Listen in and they’ll help you get back on track if you need to make course corrections to get closer to where you want to be.
Ted recommends doing two specific things when you haven’t reached your goals, and he reveals how to know when to pivot along the way.
Ted also shares a takeaway about how to handle your midyear goal check-in and why shorter goal increments and setting different types of goals may lead you to success and prosperity even sooner.
Spend just 15 minutes with Ted and Jade, and get inspired for a productive week!
Join us every Monday morning for a boost of writing motivation, plus tips and strategies to make sure you're staying on track and moving towards your goals all year.

As Robert Frost said, "Writing free verse is like playing tennis without a net." And so, it seems, that setting goals without a Check-In will make it impossible to hold on to your ambition.
Thanks for another great jump start.

This is really a necessary video from AWAI. A tap on the shoulder if action has been done by me in the middle of the year for my set goals (in Dec 2022). As July 1 is already waving (similar like January 01, 2023 is welcoming me). Thanks so much Ted Capshaw, Jane Trueblood and AWAI! :)
