They also talk about the process for setting stretch goals, because pursuing them can lead to maximum earning potential, growth for your business, and a higher level of achievement. They challenge you to think about where you are today and where you want to be in the future.

Join us every Monday morning for a boost of writing motivation, plus tips and strategies to make sure you're staying on track and moving towards your goals all year.

  1. Please adjust my rating to 5 stars … just what I needed to hear today. Ted always shares such powerful, well grounded, insightful and honest guidance … he is an amazing mentor.

  2. I always enjoy your MMJs, but this morning's was probably the most realistic goal setting how-to I've ever seen, and I've logged years in sales where goal setting is part and parcel of one's professional experience. Well done.

  3. I thought I would learn to swim by taking a high dive out of a helicopter into the ocean. Then I realized I should tone it down to diving off a diving board into the deep end. Then I came to my senses and realized I am most comfortable in a smaller pool where I can touch the bottom on my tippy toes and it's just over my nose. That's where I will be swimming in circles until I hit the Olympic pool and so forth...

Start with where you are confident and work up to surfing the waves in the ocean!
