Watch Video

If you missed her presentation … or want to watch it again(!) … here it is.

Barefoot Writer magazine editor Mindy McHorse shared …

  • the “secret code” between writers and editors that opens doors for you as a brand-new writer …
  • how to make an editor instantly love you (and your article ideas!) …
  • the three biggest “newbie” mistakes and how to look like a pro instead …
  • what makes an editor want to work with you again and again …
  • how to come up with article ideas that lead directly to paid bylines …

And more!

Want to get paid to write but not sure how to start?

Watch this presentation with magazine editor Mindy McHorse and learn everything you need to know to get an editor’s attention …

So you can land your first paid byline …

Even if you’ve never been published before!

Believe it or not, one of the best “ins” as a new writer is with a short magazine article.

They’re fun to write …

They require very little research or skills …

And you come away with a polished, published piece and official byline that you can use to impress future clients.

It’s kind of like getting paid to build your portfolio!

BUT — there is a right way and a WRONG way to approach magazine editors.

Funny thing is, even experienced writers get it wrong sometimes.

Knowing the “secret code” between editors and writers will open doors to paid bylines … whether you’ve been writing for years or have never been published before.

Watch the replay and virtually “sit down” with Barefoot Writer magazine editor Mindy McHorse for a special, FREE training session on getting your first paid byline.

Mindy has been a high-earning copywriter and magazine editor for over a decade …

But she remembers exactly what it was like to be a brand-new writer, trying to “make it” on her own.

She has a very specific set of do’s and don’ts to share — essentially an unspoken “code” between writers and editors — that you can use to score your first byline.

For the most part, this “code” applies to any magazine you approach …

But you’ll have an EXTRA head start should you want to pitch your first article to Mindy herself!
