Making feedback a point of discussion reminds us of its value to us as writers, as it is difficult to both give constructively and to receive without feeling diminished in our self-worth. Yet, there were aspects of the discussion that I feel could use further elucidation.
AWAI makes the point that a client hires a copywriter because we are the trained "expert". The client hires us for our expertise in the area that they are deficient in - copywriting. Therefore, how do we, as the writing pro, evaluate the untrained client's feedback on our writing?
