How do you deal with writer's block?
There are a number of ways to deal with writer’s block! But most of them involve just taking a break from what you’re doing. Here are some ideas:
- Go for a walk or do something active.
- Get a coffee at the local coffee shop.
- Call a friend.
- Read a book or magazine.
- Put some music on.
- Work on something else.
A lot of times, just switching gears for 15-20 minutes will help with writer’s block. When you come back to the project you’re struggling with, you might have a new idea. If not, just write anything down. It may not be your best work, but once you get in the rhythm, something good will probably come to you.
