Professional Background:
Hello! I'm Alan, and I'm a copywriter and content creator.
Before my decision to become a writer, I spent over sixteen years as a museum professional with the largest living history museum in the United States. I worked as a historic interpreter, and then as a supervisor of historic interpreters, overseeing the team charged with leading school groups. It could be a bit like herding cats, but after learning to hold the attention of a group of 4th graders on a field trip while talking about a variety of subjects in American history, from the mundane to the extremely challenging, and then training others to do the same- I realized I could communicate effectively with anyone about most anything.
Now I am putting that learned skill to work as a copywriter and content creator.
