Professional Background:
Copywriting is my 3rd career. After university, I worked in the UK and Hong Kong as a tax assessor and leasing agent. At 42 I qualified as a UK lawyer and ran my own practice.
I now live in Australia and have run my freelance copywriting business since 2013. All my training has been with AWAI, and I continue to develop professionally by undertaking AWAI’s new programs.
I specialise in business-to-business(B2B) marketing content for the logistics, freight-forwarding and supply-chain sector.
My writing style is informational, not promotional. I understand the B2B sales process — it can be lengthy, requiring data-driven, factual explanation. At the same time, I address the reader conversationally, with words that are both plain, clear and concise.
