People are often surprised when they learn that I started my career as an accountant.
It seems unusual for someone to go from being a numbers guy to being a "creative."
But copywriting isn't a creative writing process. At least not the type I focus on - conversion copywriting.
Conversion copywriters use data to get a reader to take a specific action.
We rely on a rigorous process comprised of research, writing, editing, measuring, and testing.
When I was auditing a business, I couldn't just "wing it."
