Professional Background:
I have been involved in yoga, fitness, and nutrition for over 30 years. My mother was one of the original "health nuts" back in the 60's I Have been teaching yoga and fitness, professionally for 20 years, and have been practicing meditation for over 30 years as well.
After being diagnosed with cancer 5 years ago, I immersed myself in cancer research, both traditional and alternative. I have been through alternative protocols at 3 different cancer clinics, two of which are profiled in Ty Bollinger's documentary "The Truth about Cancer, a global quest". The truth is, I know way, more about cancer, chronic disease, and the problems with the way our healthcare system works than I ever wanted to know.
I have been blogging on the subjects of Life, yoga and cancer for about a year and a half at my blog by the same name (lifeyogaandcancer.com).
