A Spot has Opened Up for an In-House Copywriter at Agora Publishing's Fastest Growing Company
(A rare chance to work one-on-one with Mark Ford)

Here’s your chance to work side-by-side and learn from one of the true pioneers in the Direct Response Copywriting world, Mark Ford.

You’ve known him by his pen name Michael Masterson, which he retired a few years ago.

Mark has written the book on modern copywriting (and one of the inspirations for AWAI) and is responsible for over $1 billion in sales over his 30-plus year career.

Mark now serves as the mentor to the copywriting group at Common Sense Publishing, a fast-growing, independent financial publishing company part of the Agora Inc. network of businesses. Founded by Mark and former Citigroup analyst Tom Dyson, Common Sense Publishing has attracted more than 75,000 subscribers in less than three years through its flagship newsletter, The Palm Beach Letter, and its newest letter—Mega Trends.

The Common Sense Publishing copy group is led by Ryan Markish, a financial copywriter with 10-plus years of experience. He is seeking a full-time direct response copywriter willing to join their in-house team in beautiful Delray Beach, Fla.

Requirements

They prefer that you've learned direct response copy through AWAI's Accelerated Program for Six-Figure Copywriting … or have been mentored by another copywriter. But for the right applicant, they might make an exception.

They are looking for copywriters, NOT marketers. Marketing knowledge is important in this business, but they really want someone who’s passionate about ideas … and writing big, blockbuster sales packages.

The right applicant must be able to write competently. But what’s more important is the ability to persuade the prospect through a carefully constructed argument.

The right applicant must be passionate about research and digging into the essence of all topics—whether it's the looming credit crisis in China or how put options work—to find the one idea that will capture and compel an audience of prospective buyers.

The right applicant must have integrity. And above all, must be a hard worker … willing to work extra hours not because they have to, but because they've lost track of time.

New recruits are expected to begin working on LONG copy right away … 25-35 page sales packages, landing pages, and PPC campaigns. And you must be willing to relocate to Delray Beach, Fla. (Note: There will be training.)

Rewards:

Base pay is entry-level, but talented copywriters often make $100,000 or more by their second year. Many top in-house copywriters make $200,000-500,000-plus per year.

This is a unique opportunity to learn from a talented group of copywriters and to have access to Mark Ford who serves as a mentor to their copy group.

To Apply:

Applicants should email rmarkish@palmbeachletter.com and attach a resume and a one-two page cover letter. If you have any samples of work, you should attach those as well.
