“Your services are no longer required.”

What will you do if your boss suddenly says that to you?

Don’t wait to find out. Instead, take out an
“insurance policy” on losing your job.

Thanks to my “insurance policy,” I went from being trapped in a cubicle
to making $117,000 a year doing something I love from the comfort of my cozy,
third-floor sun porch. I no longer worry about being laid off.
Plus, there’s a huge demand for my services.

Read on and I’ll show you exactly how I did it, and how you can do it, too!

Dear Reader,

Even when the economy is booming, no one’s job is safe.

Everyone is replaceable.

Which makes it especially important in this down economy to have a backup plan — an “insurance policy,” if you will, on losing your job.

Because if you don’t, it could take you months, even years, to find another job — straining your savings and credit cards, and seriously eroding your self-confidence and peace of mind.

Not too long ago, I was worried that one day I would be laid off from my job. To make matters worse, my job situation at the time was not very fulfilling. I felt trapped in my little cubicle. I didn’t feel my work was valued. I felt a bit like an ant in an ant farm.

Being a proactive-type person, I knew the best time to plan a career change is while you still have a job — not after you lose it.

Today, I wake up every morning with a smile on my face — excited about the day that lies ahead.

Last year I made just over $117,000. I’m on track to do even better this year.

Recently I moved to Oregon, where I live in a beautiful three-story country home located in a valley between the Cascades and the Coastal Mountain range. I work from my snug sun porch surrounded by towering pine trees and a glorious landscape.

If you have job security worries, or you’d love to move to your dream home and call your own shots during the day like I do, please read on.

My name is Pam Foster. And in the next few minutes, you’ll meet others who, like me, discovered a better way to make a living than what the traditional 9-to-5 daily grind offers.

The best career in the world

What makes what we’re doing for a living now so great?

For starters, there’s a huge demand for the services we provide. A May 2009 report from Forrester Research shows a full 89% of companies surveyed indicated they plan to increase how much they spend in the marketplace we work in.

And not only are our services in big demand, the money’s great, too. Last week, I made $1,800 for something that took me just two days to complete. Plus, I recently made $800 for a mere five hour’s work and another $350 for about three hours work.

So, how’d I do it?

I earned this money writing for the Internet.

Now, you might be thinking to yourself, “I can’t do that, I’m not a writer.”

Truth be told, you don’t have to be a professional writer to write web copy. If you can turn on a computer and write an email to a friend, you can do this. Once you know a few techniques and insider secrets, in many ways it’s as easy as talking to a friend over coffee telling them why they should read a book you just read or go see a movie you just saw and loved.

Another common misconception about writing web copy is that you have to be a “computer geek” to do it.  Not true. This isn’t about writing in some complicated programming language. It’s about writing words for a web page.

We leave the technical stuff to the people who know how. All you have to do is communicate the right message to people when they visit a website.

And here’s the thing …

Once you learn some basic principles about how a web page should work, you can apply them over and over again to different sites ….

… and bring in a great income for you and your family.

That $1,800 I made recently? I wrote a simple web page for one of my clients which asked people to sign up for a free report. The $800 was for re-working a client’s order page. The $350 was for re-writing a simple email.

Demand is only going to get more intense

The above chart from Forrester Research (May 2009) shows how a full 60% of companies are taking money from their traditional offline budgets and spending that money online. 40% of that money is being taken from offline direct marketing budgets.

Add up the first three chart bars (60%, 15%, & 14%) and it amounts to a whopping 89% of companies who are planning to spend more of their budget online this year. Yes, even in this economy.

It’s easy to understand why this is happening.

These days every business needs a website. Any company that doesn’t is missing out on a tremendous opportunity. Fact of the matter is, people expect a company to have one, and if they don’t, many times their customers won’t take them seriously.

When you consider there are currently over 233 million websites in existence (according to Netcraft), it’s easy to understand why there’s such a huge demand for qualified web writers.

And I’ll let you in on a little secret …

There’s a lot of poorly written websites out there. Many fail to hold their visitor’s attention … they focus too much on the company and not the reader … they fail to instantly convince their visitors they’ve landed at the right place … they fail to demonstrate how they’ll help solve the visitor’s problems … and the list goes on.

Businesses count on their sites for their livelihood and they desperately need your help.

If you take the initiative now and learn a few simple techniques and secrets, you’ll have an in-demand skill that could bring you in hundreds of thousands of dollars over the course of your lifetime.

A more satisfying life

“It's such a wide open field. Anyone can do this. There's plenty of work out there.”

- John Torre
North Brunswick, New Jersey

Of course, I’m not the only person I know who has discovered how lucrative and satisfying writing web copy can be. John Torre from North Brunswick, New Jersey, has been making a good living since the year 2000 writing web copy.

John was previously in sales and engineering for a construction-related industry. “Good work, but hardly inspiring,” according to John.

Like many, he dreaded having to drive into work each morning. He longed for a way out. Lucky for him, he discovered he could make a good living working for himself writing online copy.

Now nine years later, John feels the demand for his services is only just beginning.

“A lot of companies haven’t even been approached by anyone about improving the copy on their site.  The mom and pops, the small business that don’t have websites up ... they don’t realize the power of what the Internet can do for them,” he says.

John finds life much more personally satisfying now that he’s his own boss. He’s no longer living his life according to someone else’s schedule. “I set my own hours. I work when I want, he says.

Full-time income, Part-time hours

“The opportunity is only going to get better. It’s always interesting. You’re never bored and you’re always learning something new.”

- Eileen Coale
Annapolis, Maryland

And then there’s Eileen Coale from Annapolis, Maryland. When Eileen’s first child was born, she quit her job as a Russian-English translator. Eileen and her husband had made a commitment to themselves that one of them would be at home to look after their kids at all times.

As Eileen’s kids got older, she began looking into ways to make money working from home. In 2002, she started writing copy for the Internet. It gave her the flexibility she needed to be with her family while still allowing her to bring in a significant income.

“You can make a lot of money. I earn a full-time income doing part-time work and it’s really wonderful,” she says.

Eileen works part-time, around 20 to 25 hours a week, and earns a full-time income. The added income has allowed her and her husband to pay for private school tuition, pay down their mortgage, and helped them purchase a gorgeous piece of land near a state park to build their retirement dream house on.

And best of all, she’s able to be there every single day when her kids walk in the door after school.

Eileen says “You can teach yourself using materials. You don’t have to go to school to get a degree in English to do this.”

The man who could change your life (like he did mine)

Which brings me to the man who’s helped make it possible for me and so many others to live a richer and more fulfilling life by doing something we love to do.

I’d like to introduce you to Nick Usborne.

For 13 years, Nick wrote sales letters, brochures, and other print advertisements for a living. But realizing the power and potential the Internet offered on January 1, 1998, Nick decided from that day forward he would only write web copy.

It turned out to be a great decision.

Since then he’s worked with companies such as Microsoft, Yahoo!, Disney, America Online, and The New York Times. Along the way, he’s become known as one of the preeminent web copywriters of our time.

“Nick knows how to write a website that will do what you want it to do. Thanks to his excellent teaching skills, now I can write one, too.”

- Mike Minicucci,
web copywriter

He also did some writing for AWAI. If you’re not familiar with AWAI … since 1997, they’ve been helping people acquire financial security, independence, and freedom through comprehensive, easy-to-use programs. They’ve helped thousands upon thousands of people free themselves of their rigid, 9-to-5 routines and live life on their own terms and schedule.

Not to long ago, AWAI asked Nick if he’d be willing to put down his expertise on paper so others could benefit from his experience.

Nick agreed.

The result was “Copywriting 2.0: Your Complete Guide to Writing Web Copy that Converts” program. What Nick has done is break down writing web copy into simple, easy-to-understand pieces.

“A rose that’s just about to blossom”

Kathleen Cleary from Lenox, Massachusetts, has high praise for Copywriting 2.0: Your Complete Guide to Writing Web Copy that Converts:

“There’s so much guidance. When I first sat down to do this, everything seemed to be step-by-step. For someone wanting to be a web copywriter, I would definitely start with Nick’s program.”

Kathleen works part-time at the family lighting store. Recently she started to write web copy three days a week.

“You don’t have to be a technical person. You just have to know how to type.”

- Kathleen Cleary
Lenox, Massachusetts

She happened upon her first client by chance. She was looking at the website of the fitness club where she’s a member and noticed it was basically just a text dump of their company brochure.

She spoke to the owner and one thing lead to another and she was hired to re-write the website. Using what she’s learned from Nick’s program, Kathleen’s now in the process of making their website more compelling and user-friendly.

She sees lots of other potential for work in her local area. In fact, she’s had three other new opportunities pop up this past week alone.

For me, it’s a rose that’s just about to blossom,” she says.

“The Bible of Website Copywriting”

Bestselling author and master copywriter Bob Bly also has high praise for Nick’s program:

“Few copywriters are experienced in web copy as my friend Nick Usborne, and certainly no one teaches how to write business websites better. You should study Nick’s AWAI web copywriting as if it were the Bible of website copywriting … which it is.”

Once you develop and fine tune the skills you’ll learn in Nick’s program, you’ll never again have to worry about losing your job. Because you’ll have a solid back-up plan in place. Should the unthinkable happen, you’ll instantly be able to make money from the comfort of your home, helping online businesses be more successful. Plus, if you choose, you can start the transition from your current job to a career as a full-time, professional web writer.

Here is just a sample of what you’ll learn in Copywriting 2.0: Your Complete Guide to Writing Web Copy that Converts program that will help you meet your goals:

Another great thing is you can write web copy for specific areas that you’re passionate about. For instance, one of my passions is animals and the pet-care industry. I could write about pets all day and be the happiest person on earth. So one of the services I offer is to help pet-related websites communicate more effectively with their prospects and customers.

Maybe your passion is martial arts. There are all kinds of websites about different aspects of martial arts. Some may be just information sites. Others may provide coaching, courses, or books.

Or maybe you love green causes … or automobiles … or perhaps you love gardening … or coffee … the list is pretty much endless.

No matter where your interest lies, once you learn a few simple skills, there are websites that need your help and businesses willing to pay you very handsomely for it.

“Once you get into it, you’re not going to want leave it.”

“It’s financially lucrative and psychologically exciting for me. It’s wonderful. And I never would have thought of it if it weren’t for AWAI.”

- Patricia Ogilvie
Alberta, Canada

You may also enjoy writing for a site whose topic is one of your areas of expertise. For example, after a career in human resources, Patricia Ogilvie from Alberta, Canada, now writes for sites that promote their payroll services to companies looking to outsource that aspect of their business.

She currently works for three companies with whom she’s negotiated long-term contacts upwards of $50,000 to $60,000 each — usually running between nine and twelve months.

Writing for the Web has improved her family’s life dramatically …

It’s been a blessing for us. My husband and I were able to buy an acre out at Alberta Beach. We now have a view overlooking the lake. We have a condo in the city. This has been really cool,” she says.

Patricia says the money’s great, but what’s even better is the freedom it’s given her. She loves the flexibility it gives her throughout the day.

“Once you get into it, you’re not going to want leave it. I enjoy it. It’s like a playground. It really is. I have a heck of a lot of fun. I love it,” she says.

“$50,000 a year relatively easily”

Belfast, Maine, resident Eddie Adelman’s story is a little different. Eddie was looking for a way to bring in a good income working twenty or so hours a week so he can ultimately do what he really loves to do, which is write novels and screenplays.

Relatively new to writing web copy, Eddie says at first he didn’t consider it as an option …

“I’ve always shied away from anything that was technical. But, I soon discovered you don’t have to be a computer expert to do this,” he says.

Now he says by writing copy for the Web he believes he “can make $50,000 a year relatively easily.”

He recently picked up his first client, which has him really excited about the demand for his services.

There’s so much work out there. There’s so much that needs to written. Websites constantly need to be updated and refreshed,” he says.

“Everybody who starts a business is going to need a website. The demand is huge and it will only increase over time.”

- Eddie Adelman
Belfast, Maine

Eddie adds that writing web copy is really only just the beginning. There’s plenty of other ways — such as writing blog posts, writing emails, writing e-newsletters — that companies need which will bring you a substantial income.

Which brings me to a few of the other things you’ll learn in Copywriting 2.0: Your Complete Guide to Writing Web Copy that Converts program that will boost your income and make you indispensible to your clients:

“I don’t have a boss breathing down my neck – saying you have to do this at 10 o’clock. It fits my lifestyle very well. I love it. I’m in my zone.”

- Cheryl Malcham
Mercer Island, Washington

Nick’s email-writing tips proved to be very timely for Cheryl Malcham from Mercer Island, Washington. Recently she was asked by one of her clients if she could write an email campaign for them.

Cheryl was “delighted to find in Nick’s program 30 or 40 pages just on writing emails.” She said she ended up writing something totally different (and better) than what she originally had planned to write for the project.

Like many, what Cheryl loves most about writing web copy is the flexibility it gives her to spend time with her family. Thanks to her new writing career, Cheryl says she can attend her daughter’s afternoon soccer games or accompany her mother to a morning yoga class guilt-free.

Plus, she says she no longer worries about paying the bills (even in rough times). Because she knows that she can market her skills to an endless list of potential clients and keep the checks flowing into her mailbox.

“It’s exciting to know you’re doing what you absolutely love and getting paid to do it,” she says.

A stress-free life

“I respect Nick’s experience and expertise as a copywriter. He has written a valuable manual for the online copywriter. In my opinion, anybody who’s serious about learning – or getting better at – online copywriting, should have a copy of Nick’s manual close at hand.”

- John Williamson
London, UK

Like Cheryl, John Williamson from the UK loves the flexibility writing web copy gives him when it comes to his family.

Recently he attended a business breakfast meeting where several of the attendees were griping that they had to go to work, while their wives were able to stay at home and enjoy seeing their children grow.

John just smiled to himself, because, for years he’s been able to stay home with his children, watch them grow up, and always be there when they needed him. John’s been writing web copy since July of 2002.

John says he now leads a “pretty stress-free life.” He works when he wants and loves the fact that he no longer has a daily commute.

“I go to bed when I want, get up when I want, go out when I want … in fact, my life is almost entirely my own to indulge my whims and do with as I wish,” he says.

A lifelong money-generating skill

When Nick sat down to write Copywriting 2.0: Your Complete Guide to Writing Web Copy that Converts, one of his goals was to take the mystery out of writing for the Web. He wanted to write something that everyone can understand and use regardless of their experience or education level.

He’s succeeded on all counts.

Nick gives you a step-by-step blueprint showing you how to write a results-oriented website for your client. Once you’ve finished Nick’s program …

So, how much does it cost?

If you were to pay Nick (or any other top-notch consultant) to come to your office or home and show you how to do this, you’d easily pay $4,000 or $5,000 — maybe more.

But you don’t need to do that, because the cost of Copywriting 2.0: Your Complete Guide to Writing Web Copy that Converts is just $497.

When you consider that I recently made $1,800 writing one landing page (that took me only two days to complete!), $497 is a very smart investment.

And it gets even better. You can take the first step to launching your web copy career right away. Because as soon as we process your order, you’ll be able to download Nick’s complete program online, and start benefiting from his experience and guidance immediately.

That way, you don’t have to pay shipping and handling, or wait days or weeks for printed materials to arrive. Plus, down the road … when Nick updates his program again, you’ll always have instant (and free) access to all the latest information.

One more thing …

I want you to be completely thrilled with this program. So I talked to AWAI, and they agreed to go a couple of notches better than their standard 30-day guarantee.
