Going a Couple of Steps Further Pays Off
for this AWAI Member

With so many talented members, we often look to the AWAI family when we need copy written.

It’s a win-win for everybody. The writer gets real world experience in their niche. And, because they’re usually so good, we get awesome copy.

That’s why we’re so excited to have Jeanie Davis come aboard to write a series of autoresponders for an upcoming marketing campaign. When we put the challenge to members of the Autoresponder Apprentice program, Jeanie’s sample entry came out on top.

Yes, she followed the formula for an effective autoresponder taught in the program. But she also went a couple of steps further.

“I went inside the program, and looked for a hook in a previous teleconference,” explains Jeanie. “I listened to it, typing notes from the slides and from the commentary. Then I simply edited down my notes and retooled the text into the AR formula.”

This was actually Jeanie’s second “official” autoresponder, although she has written several similar emails for a client in the health industry. And she’s been busy with web content projects, articles, and ghostwriting a blog and a book for two doctors. By expanding her writing business to include this niche, Jeanie hopes to add another revenue stream.

Be sure to check out her website to see what else she’s been up to: www.copybyjeanie.com.

Thanks for pitching in, Jeanie!
